Nursing Team

Our nursing team see patients for booked appointments for a wide range of health matters and play an important part in the health promotion and disease prevention work we do. Our practice nurses are Jackie Fryer, Ann Hannan, Deborah Stephenson, Gill Avery and Sue Carrington. Sharon Temple is our Advanced Nurse Practitioner at the surgery  and our paramedic is Jack West.

Healthcare assistants support the practice with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one. Our Healthcare assistants are Grainne Skinner, Sam Lederman and Halyna Papworth.

Admin Team

Our Practice Manager, Rachel Smith, is responsible for the smooth running of the surgery and is your point of contact if you have concerns with regard to any aspect the service you receive.  You can contact Rachel directly on 01480 484720.

Our reception and administrative team provide the first point of contact that you will have with the practice, whether you call in or contact us using our website. They support the clinical team and are able to answer many of the queries you may have.

The dispensary team are responsible for handling patient’s medication and ensure you are able to order medication quickly and efficiently.

Social & Health

The surgery benefits from a variety of staff who focus on the social and health wellbeing of patients:

Karen Brown is the surgery’s Social Prescribing Link Worker who helps to support our patients who may be lonely or isolated; have complex social needs or are coping with long-term conditions or mental health conditions. Your GP can refer you for support with Karen during a consultation.

Jodie DeCiantis is our Care Coordinator and works behind the scenes. Jodie helps bring together all the information about a person’s care and support needs to create one single personalised care plan, based on what matters to the patient.

Natalie Hermiston is our Specialist Healthcare Assistant and offers reviews and annual health checks in specialised clinic for patients with severe mental illnesses. Natalie books her own appointments so please do not request these with our reception team. For more information about these clinics, click here.
