Cancer Awareness

There are more than 200 different types of cancer. Unfortunately 1 in 2 people will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime. At the Spinney Surgery, we are here to support our cancer patients and their carers.

There is currently no screening programme for prostrate cancer in the UK but there is an informed choice programme.

You can ask us for more information about this.

If you feel, after weighing up the risks and benefits, that you would like a PSA test, the blood test can be taken at the surgery.
