Sad loss within the Spinney family

Some of you may already be aware that we sadly lost Linda, our incredible Reception Team Leader, a few weeks ago.

Most of you would probably recognise Linda if not for her friendly face welcoming you at reception but her infectious laugh which I am sure you would have heard on the phone.

Linda was a huge part of the Spinney family and is greatly missed by all of the team here.

Linda’s life is being celebrated this Wednesday the 20th March and as such we have a number of staff members who will be attending the funeral. Whilst we have done our absolute best to ensure there is minimal disruption to our services during this time we thought it wise to put this message out in the event of longer waiting times on the phones or if you see any staff members not in our usual uniform.

Linda’s procession will also be going past the surgery just before our lunchtime at around 12:45 so please also be aware that during this time our staff members not attending the funeral will be outside of the practice paying our respects.

We thank you for your understanding during this difficult time and as a practice we are sending love and strength to Linda’s family.
