What is Systm Connect ?
Launch of SystmConnect
As of Wednesday 01.10.2025, we will be changing our online request system from Klinik to SystmConnect. Alongside our phone line, this will be the main way to access our services.
Many aspects of using SystmConnect will resemble Klinik, Online acess will be from 7am – 18:30pm
The options you will be presented with SystmConnect are easier to navigate. You can request an appointment about a new condition, enquire about an existing condition or medication, ask about a referral, discuss a test result or seek advice about something else such as a sick note or travelling abroad.
When you get in touch, you will be asked some questions to help us understand your clinical need. Our dedicated triage team will use the information you give us to choose an appointment for you in a time frame that is appropriate and with the most suitable Health Care Professional for your clinical need. We may offer you a face to face or a telephone appointment, or we may be able to answer your query with a message, or send a prescription to your pharmacy / dispensary.
*Our dedicated Triage Team is made up of your regular healthcare professionals, including GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Paramedics and other clinicians from the practice. They review the information you provide to determine what care you require and if/when you should be seen. One of our Administrators will contact you with the outcome.
Appointment timeframes* are categorised into: Acute (within 24hrs), Urgent 2-3 days, Semi-routine priority (SRP) 4-8 days, Semi-routine non-priority (SNRP) 9-13 days and Routine 14+ days. If you have access to your medical record via the NHS App, the Airmid app or SystmOnline, you will be able to see these references on your medical notes after you have submitted a health form.
If at anytime, you feel your query has been prioritised incorrectly, please get in touch again and provide more information to help us help you with your problem.
Patients registered with the Spinney Surgery can use this service to contact the surgery for multiple reasons such as:
