What is KLINIK?

KLINIK is an online service that allows patients to contact the practice regarding both clinical and non-clinical queries without having to phone. You can also use the system to request sick notes, request an appointment and fill in an online form regarding your symptoms.

Please note this service is only available to patients registered with the Spinney Surgery.

This service is open from 7:30am Monday to Friday.

Patients registered with the Spinney Surgery can use this service to contact the surgery for multiple reasons such as:

If you select ‘New Health Problem’, you will be asked to asked whereabouts the location of your symptoms are (if there is a specific location – if not you can leave this blank), the duration of your Symptoms, your sex assigned at birth and your age.

You will then be asked to select your symptoms from the options menu, and once you have selected your symptoms, you will be asked about your following symptoms and then if you have any more urgent symptoms.

You will then be asked about any previous treatment to your symptoms and then if your concerns and expectations if you have any.

After you have gone through these stages, you will be asked to fill in your details and any appointment preferences if there are any.

If you select ‘Ongoing Health Problem’, you will be asked to asked whereabouts the location of your symptoms are (if there is a specific location – if not you can leave this blank), the duration of your Symptoms, your sex assigned at birth and your age.

You will then be asked to select your symptoms from the options menu, and once you have selected your symptoms, you will be asked about your following symptoms and then if you have any more urgent symptoms.

You will then be asked about any previous treatment to your symptoms and then if your concerns and expectations if you have any.

After you have gone through these stages, you will be asked to fill in your details and any appointment preferences if there are any.

When putting a medication request using KLINIK, please include as much information as possible.

When requesting a sick note, please include as much information as possible such as:

– The dates that you need your certificate from and to

-The reason you need a certificate

-When you last saw someone about why you need your sick note

-Why you need a sick note

Please do not call the surgery to speak to the Secretary team as this is no longer an option.

Please use KLINIK to request any forms that need filling in, a summary of your records and give the secretaries  information that they have asked for or ask a question about the progress of a form or referral.

However if not, use Klinik to ask questions. However, questions will be answered in date order so please be patient as urgent clinical problems come first but we hope that having this option will be helpful.
