The surgery closes approximately one afternoon every two months for staff training. Medical care is provided during that time by Urgent Care Cambridgeshire on 01223 446995 or by calling our number, your call will be diverted automatically. Details about dates of closure can be found in the newsletter, website and in the surgery.
We offer a rota of early and late surgeries by appointment for a selection of GPs, nurses and health care assistants on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings, and Tuesday evening.
If you need urgent medical attention when the surgery is closed, you can contact a doctor by calling 111 or the surgery number.
NHS England has commissioned the use of Herts Urgent Care to provide emergency (or urgent) medical care. Your call will be answered by a trained receptionist or nurse who will take your details and arrange how best to help you. This may be a visit by the doctor to your home, or you may be invited to attend the Herts Urgent Care which is now based at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, (next to A&E) or given advice over the telephone.
The nearest walk in centre is based in St Neots.
A pharmacist may be able to help with minor ailments including the morning after pill or advice if you have run out of regular medication.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
